if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

We are God’s people.

Many of us have had the blessing of growing up in a Christian home, etc.

We must seek God first!

Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice!

Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

8 When You said, “Seek My face,”

My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.”

We must give God our attention. Attention = Worship

The New King James Version Chapter 1

because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Time in prayer.

Pursuit of His will by turning from wickedness.

We must proclaim the righteous standard to the next generation.

Then we must wait on God to heal the land.
