Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel,
Who only doeth wondrous things.
INTRODUCTION:
All that the Lord does is wonderful, extraordinary, unusual, and always with a divine purpose.
As I read through the Bible I see wondrous things that God did that people were thankful for.
For instance when God fed the Israelites with manna, the deliverance of Daniel from the den of lions, the protection of the Hebrew children, etc.
Today, I want you to not with me some personal, wonderful things God has done which we should always be thankful for.
WE ARE TO BE THANKFUL FOR OUR SALVATION
Why is it wonderful and why should we be thankful?
Because:
A. The Person who brought it
B. The Price that was paid for it
C. The Pardon it receives
D. The Product that it produced
WE ARE TO BE THANKFUL FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT INDWELLS US
A. He helps us in our weaknesses
B. He guides us in our choices
C. He comforts us in our sorrow
WE ARE TO BE THANKFUL FOR THE BIBLE
A. A powerful Book
B. An indestructible Book
C. An inspired Book that remains fresh with every reading
WE ARE TO BE THANKFUL FOR THE WAY GOD ANSWERS PRAYER
A. God always answers even if He says “No”
B. Prayer is far more than a privilege
WE ARE TO BE THANKFUL FOR THE JOY THAT COMES FROM SERVING GOD
A. The Promise of His presence brings joy
B. The Promise of His sufficient grace brings joy
C. The Promise of joy when we win souls
