JEREMIAH 29:11

Jeremiah 29:11 ESV

11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

GOD SHARED THIS WITH ISRAEL WHEN THEY WERE AT A VERY LOW POINT. THEY WERE EXILES. THEY HAD BEEN STRIPPED OF EVERYTHING. THEIR HERITAGE, THEIR TRADITION, THEIR WEALTH, THEIR HOMES, THEIR LOVED ONES.

Isaiah 55:8–9 ESV

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Romans 15:4 ESV

4 For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
