Grace, what is grace?

Have you ever heard the words “ITS JUST NOT FAIR”

Maybe someone got a better gift then you or a better deal.

Whenever we get less than we feel we should have done.

We immediately say “UNFAIR”

TRUTH NUGGET:

The Bible tells us God is not fair.

What?

If God was fair we would all be wiped out from the face of the earth because of our sin.

The Bible is full of Gods grace.

Numbers 6:24-26

“ ‘ “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” ’

The Lord makes His face shine on you.

The Lord gives you peace.

Grace Is Discovered.

Ephesians 2:4-9

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.

It is by grace we have been saved. Through Faith.

Grace is a gift from God.

Gods Grace is Free.

The mircale of Grace is that God does not deal with us according to what we deserve or what we have earned.

In spite of our sin, he loves us. In love, he gave His son to die on the cross. This Is Grace.

Mercy = Not getting what I deserve.

Grace = Getting what I don’t deserve.

G = God’s

R= Riches

A = At

C= Christ’s

E = Expense

Ephesians 1: 7-8

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding,

Gods grace is the redemption we have through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Gods Grace is lavished on us.

With All Wisdom.

With All Understanding.
