Struggle is Real

There is constant pressure to accept the trash in my life.

I need to SEE my struggles the way God sees them. I have aspects of my life that are products of my old nature. Rom 7:15-17 I also have the redeemed part of my life that is alive and flourishing. If I identify (See) the distinction by the Spirit’s discernment then I can pray for help to deal with the dead parts of my life. I cannot see the dead branches and just ignore or rationalize them because they will replicate and spread. Rom 7:23 Paul describes powers at war. I can’t blame God for my struggles and challenges. He is offering help on the light side to shift my life that way.

I need to STAY in the struggle. Natural responses would be to give in, rationalize, avoid, replace this struggle. Yet I need to go through these struggles to build faith, trust, discernment, and endurance in my walk with God. God wants me to admit my need and invite Him into the middle of the struggles and He moves in long slow paths through struggles. Rom 7:24-25 Thanks to God for His deliverance.

I can SURVIVE. Rom 8:1-2 release from power of sin. I belong to God and am sealed by His Spirit who will work to move me to His best life. “God, meet me here. Bring me life” The victory is already won. 1Cor 15 victory
