This morning, we come back to the life of Joseph.
It's been a few weeks that we kind of left him in the pit in that dungeon, and we we left him feeling forgot.
Best forgotten feeling is something that each one of us are one level or another.
Through various situations can relate with, can't we?
And I think it's, it's apt that we actually gave it a few weeks.
Just leaving him there.
In our minds and our hearts because truth be told it was more than a few weeks.
I appreciate, aw, Tozer world.
He says it is doubtful.
Whether God can bless the man greatly until he has hurt him deeply.
It may be a hard quote to hear this morning.
You may be chewing on that going.
Two of us sitting here is any of us can relate to God's servant show.
You've ever read that book.
It is a
It is a powerful book.
Looking at who God is.
In our own struggles that we have Joe was an individual who?
Had gone through trials that I pray.
None of you have to go through.
He suffered physical loss of everything.
He owned.
Not only were his possessions allowed to be taken.
So was his health, he suffered pain and agony.
With the conditions that God allowed to come upon him.
And as he suffered through the physical laws, the physical pain on top of that job, lost all of his children.
In one day.
If that wasn't bad enough.
His friends and I'll put air quotes around that.
Came and brought encouragement.
By trying to discover where Joe was wrong.
Making Falls a cute accusations.
And those sting when they come from a friend.
It's in that setting the job State.
These words that I want to read for you and Joe chapter 23 beginning of verse 3.
He says this ol that I knew where I might find him.
He's looking for God, in the midst of this heartache.
But I might come to his feet.
Come before him.
I would present my case before him and fill my mouth with argument.
Have you ever gone before God and plead your case and say God why God, what about this?
What about this in in argue before God, your case?
Joe wanted to do that.
He says I would lean.
I would learn.
I would learn the word, which you would answer.
What a powerful statement as God would answer job.
Desire2learn.
To learn the answer, so desperately.
And perceive what he would say to me.
Would he contend with me by the greatness of his power?
No. Surely you would pay attention to me.
You take your case to God and he does not respond in all his power and Glory.
He comes to you where you're at.
They're the upright would reason with him and I would be delivered forever from my judge.
Behold.
I go home for break.
He is not there and back were but I cannot perceive them when he acts on the left.
I cannot Behold Him.
He turns on the right and I cannot see him.
Job is saying in my Agony.
I'm working for my work here.
I was there and I can't find him.
I want to plead my heart and my case, I can't find him.
Listen to these words.
Listen to the discernment and wisdom of Joe here.
but he knows the way I
when he has tried me.
I shall come forth.
High School.
When he has tried me.
I enforce go.
It's a refining process, these trials and heartaches and hardships that we go through.
Some are going through them right now.
Summon come out of them, summer about ready to go into him.
Regardless, you can relate or you will relate.
Hardships come.
That's part of life.
We have looked at that as we have studied the life of of Joseph here.
When his try me, there is a process, its refining us.
And God is the one doing the refining in your heart and mine.
And that's not comfortable.
but in the end, Job says, I will come forth as gold.
In the end, there is now you.
In the end, there is something of worth.
That comes from that refining process and Joe recognized it in the gold Church.
Listen to this, the goal is not the external.
It's not the riches.
It's not the Glorious, not all of those things that we look to it.
Is internal.
The gold is internal value.
We look at the word that God does in the hearts of his people.
And there is the value, there is the gold, the richness.
How many of you want to be replying right now?
A few of you, God.
Good, I'm glad because you understand you are at a point.
You are understanding where where that refining brings forth the how you and God doesn't work inside you and it is hard to go through church.
I will not stand here and say, it is easy.
God has allowed the refining process in my heart and my life.
And here's the thing, that terrifies me sometime.
