vs 19 Many of Mary & Martha’s friends

came to the tomb to console them.

Church family brings comfort to those

grieving. A word of thanks for all of you who came and supported Bro. Bobby’s and Leon’s family this week.

vs 25 Jesus, “I am the resurrection and the life.” Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?

vs 11 our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep and I go to awaken him

Believer’s Hope is eternal life after death.

vs 16 Thomas, let us go that we may die with him.

Are we ready to be killed for Jesus’ sake?

What have I learned this week.

A. I am dependent upon God’s Mercy.

B. Death is common to all men, women, and children.

C. I cannot save myself and I cannot keep from dying.

D. I need Jesus to call me out of the grave.

Many people are fearful today of dying

and we are experiencing the passing of many friends and family. So I am trying to decompress and accept all that has happened the last few days.

I am deeply saddened by the pain of death as it spreads through our church family. My resolve is turn to Jesus in prayer and ask Him to help all of our people who are hurting.

I. We need a miracle today.

Manifestation of God’s glory & power

Prepare to meet God.

Getting your house in order.

A lady at the funeral said that you need not attend church to be a christian. If you don’t go to church often, you’re not going to be very committed as a christian.

Take Advantage of the time that you have.

Living to serve Jesus.

Time on earth is short. Eternity is forever!

Jesus knew what He was going to do.

He asked them to believe in Him.

Some people reject Jesus’ love for them.
