One of the most comforting and yet challenging phrases in the bible is "God with us." Because of all the difficulties and suffering around us, it may at times be difficult to believe that God is in our midst. Christmas is celebrating the fulfilled promises of God coming to His creation in the person of Jesus Christ. That's why, ultimately, we have a reason to celebrate - God is with us, and in Him we have light and life!
