Psalm 77:11-14

Introduction
Verses 1-9 paint the following picture:
a man who is in utter desperation
a man who can find no comfort in his attempts of approaching God
a man who has no personal experience with God to hold on to
-> At least so it seems!
Why are we doing this time together?
You are not all like the Psalmist - I hope not!
I am not saying that it has to be like that when you go home
But at times we leave a spiritual high and Satan uses it to drag us into a hole

And what can help us?
Verses 11-14 are that turning point
We see two significant choices:
1.
View difficulties in light of God’s past help
2. Choose to interpret struggles in terms of God’s relationship
11 I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your wonders of old.

Vers 12 is more a inwardly directed remembering
this leans more towards a recalling of things God has done and who he is, leading to manifestation in my life
13 Your way, O God, is holy.

The more we meditate on him and on what he has done, the more we will be confronted with his holiness
We see where we are only recalling but not acting out in our life
