Remember a Kingdom is where the king has dominion.
The desciples were still looking for the 2nd coming.
But God had something great for them/us to do.
Remember a few weeks ago we discussed we are in the kingdom of God currently.

When we pray we are filled with the power of GOd
Prayer activates the Spirit inside of us giving us boldness to do the will of God and speak the word of God.
Understand.
Recieving the Holy Spirit is a one time thing: During Jesus Baptism Jesus REcieved the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit like a dove ascended onto Jesus.
But being filled is a daily thing
We are filled with the Holy Spirit when we pray
Lastly it’s about His glory
When we recieve the Holy Spirit We are gifted to be used in God’s Kingdom for His Glory.
