NEW CREATION REALITIES

INTRODUTION

John 1:12-13 (ESV) 12  But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13  who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 3:14 (ESV) 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,

Two chief obstacles lie in the way of the salvation of any of Adam’s fallen descendants: bondage to the guilt and penalty of sin, bondage to the power and presence of sin; or, in other words, their being bound for Hell and their being unfit for Heaven. These obstacles are, so far as man is concerned, entirely insurmountable. This fact was unequivocally established by Christ, when, in answer to His disciples’ question, "Who then can be saved?", He answered, "with men this is impossible." A lost sinner might more easily create a world than save his own soul. But (forever be His name praised), the Lord Jesus went on to say, "with God all things are possible" (Matt. 19:25, 26). Yes, problems which completely baffle human wisdom, are solvable by Omniscience; tasks which defy the utmost efforts of man, are easily accomplished by Omnipotence. Nowhere is this fact more strikingly exemplified than in God’s saving of the sinner. - AW PINK

Man was created to be in the same class with God, possessing all the attributes of God. Man is an eternal spirit just like God. His senses were granted him to connect and live in the physical world. He was given reasoning faculties so that he might gain knowledge and use it to function in the physical world.

When a person is born again, they are translated from one's natural bloodline to a new family. It’s a new bloodline’ a new order of things and heritage. It is a new creation of the dead spirit to a newly born spirit by God. The New Creation is a newborn living spirit that never existed before. It is a new species created in the image of God.

When a person is born again his spirit becomes alive to God and His (God's) life is placed within the person's spirit. Our spirits were dead to God but now they are infused with the very life and power of God

We are talking of the Recreated spirit which has received the nature and life of the Father. It has become united with Christ and received Eternal Life. Eternal Life is the nature of the Father, and that nature is Love. Love is the mother of faith. You can have no deep faith life without a love life. The Recreated spirit is also the fountain of wisdom, and all of the other fruits of the spirit mentioned in Galatians 5:22. - EW KENYON

DEPRAVITY OF MAN - HIS CONDITION

Every member of Adam’s race is a fallen creature, and every part of his complex being has been corrupted by sin. Man’s heart is "deceitful above all things and desperately wicked" (Jer. 17:9). His mind is blinded by Satan (2 Cor. 4:4) and darkened by sin (Eph. 4:18), so that his thoughts are only evil continually (Gen. 6:5). His affections are prostituted, so that he loves what God hates, and hates what God loves. His will is enslaved from good (Rom. 6:20) and opposed to God (Rom. 8:7). He is without righteousness (Rom. 3:10), under the curse of the law (Gal. 3:10) and is the captive of the Devil. His condition is truly deplorable, and his case desperate. He cannot better himself, for he is "without strength" (Rom. 5:6). He cannot work out his salvation, for there dwelleth no good thing in him (Rom. 7:18). He needs, then, to be born of God, "for in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation" (Gal. 6:15).

The New Birth - GOD'S ANSWER TO MAN'S NEED

John 3:3-6 (ESV) 3  Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 4  Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” 5  Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

All God s works are shrouded in impenetrable mystery. Life, natural life, in its origin, in its nature, its processes, baffles the most careful investigator. Much more is this the case with spiritual life. The Existence and Being of God transcends the finite grasp; how then can we expect to understand the process by which we become His children? - AW PINK

It is the enduement of a new life, of a godly nature - 2 Peter 1:4

The new birth is a spiritual birth, the birth of a new power and spirit in life. It is the actual creation of a new birth within—spiritually The new birth is very much a supernatural operation of God upon man’s spirit, a transcendent wonder. It is a marvel of Divine grace, Divine wisdom, Divine power, and Divine beauty. It is a miracle performed upon and within ourselves

Regeneration is an intensely solemn thing. The new birth is the dividing line between Heaven and Hell. In God’s sight there are but two classes of people on this earth: those who are dead in sins, and those who are walking in newness of life. - AW PINK

Zoe - GOD'S DIVINE PRINCIPLE IN MAN

The whole mediatorial work of Christ has this one end in view. His priestly office is to reconcile and bring His people unto God; His prophetic, to teach them the way; His kingly, to work in them those qualifications and bestow upon them that comeliness which is necessary to fit them for the holy converse and communion with the thrice holy God. Thus does He "purify unto Himself a peculiar people zealous of good works" (Titus 2:14). - AW PINK

Eternal Life is the Creative Nature of God, and we have come to recognize the fact that man is a spirit created in the image and likeness of God, and who can receive God's Creative Nature. - EW KENYON

THE GODHOOD OF GOD

To better understand the reality and power of Zoe we need to know about God's nature.

Zoe is a spiritual principle which enables us to live the life which God has called us to. without this spiritual principle we are just mere natural man, powerless against the attacks of the devil and the dangers of life.

Zoe is a spiritual force operating in the spirit of man enabling him to live for God and accomplish everything which God has called him to. We can never be alive and active to without His life in us
