In Search of the Covenant King

Do you think the magi were embarrassed?

Were they embarrassed when they arrived in Jerusalem, and they seemed to be the only people searching for the covenant king?

Harsh travels throughout the middle east following a star? Can you imagine their peers feelings toward them when they left on their journey?

Did they wonder if their friends were right? I’m guessing there were some back home who had believed they had a little bit crazy, or that they were religious fanatics? Maybe a long journey such as this would lead them to wonder this question themselves? Had they gone a little mad?

They have traveled all this way and no one seems know anything about this great prophecy of a savior baby being born. Not even the Hebrew Jews themselves held their beliefs and convictions.

Attempting to put my feet in their sandals, I don’t imagine this could not have been discouraging.
