Light of the World

1. His Light brought Love into the world.

A. His Father’s Love for mankind.

Before Jesus came we did not know that the depth of His love for us.

Since Jesus has come into the world the Father’s Love is made plane that even the simplest of us can understand that He truly does love us.

We now know how to love one another.

2. His Light brought Joy into the world.

A. Before Jesus came there was much sorrow and sadness in the world.

B. Since He came He has en-fussed in our hearts a joy that is unspeakable. You just can not describe it fully.

3. His Light brought Peace into the world.

A. Before Jesus came there was strife and war.

B. Since He came He has brought unspeakable Peace into the very heart of where wars begin - the heart of man.

C. Man was at war with God before Jesus came. Jesus brings peace to the heart of man.

4. His Light brought Hope into the world.

A. Before Jesus came there was no hope beyond the grave.

B. Since Jesus came His light brings hope to heart stricken by grief and sorrow.
