who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Moses and his people, saying:
“Where is He who brought them up out of the sea
With the shepherd of His flock?
Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within them,
Who led them by the right hand of Moses,
With His glorious arm,
Dividing the water before them
To make for Himself an everlasting name,
Who led them through the deep,
As a horse in the wilderness,
That they might not stumble?”
As a beast goes down into the valley,
And the Spirit of the Lord causes him to rest,
So You lead Your people,
To make Yourself a glorious name.
The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is promised to believers

the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
The Holy Spirit indwells believers
That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.

Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

Results of the Holy Spirit’s indwelling in believers

Filled with the Spirit
The Spirit of God In the Holy Spirit the transcendent God draws near to his people.
The Spirit is the medium through whom God’s presence becomes real among his people (Is 63:11–14; Zec 7:12) and by whom God’s gifts and powers operate among them (2 Chr 15:1; 20:14; 24:20; Zec 4:6; 6:1–8). The Spirit was the presence and power of God with his people—God himself acting in accordance with his essential nature. The sinner cannot be in the presence of God without the aid of God’s Holy Spirit; to be deprived of the Holy Spirit is to be deprived of God’s presence (Ps 51:11
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
). Without the Spirit, communion between God and humans is not possible.
