1. Miracles Follow the Word

Mark 2:2 NKJV
Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them.
Mark 16:20 NKJV
And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.
Matthew 4:23 NKJV
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.
Matthew 9:35 NKJV
Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

2. Grace is the Nature of the Miracle!

You’re worthy to receive because of Him, His choice, not yours.
Mark 2:5 NKJV
When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”
Matthew 9:22 NKJV
But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.
Mark 5:34 NKJV
And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”
Luke 8:48 NKJV
And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”
This can be our most difficult challenge, because of our battle with carnal man.
Romans 8:6–7 TPT
For the mind-set of the flesh is death, but the mindset controlled by the Spirit finds life and peace. In fact, the mind-set focused on the flesh fights God’s plan and refuses to submit to his direction, because it cannot!
We do not have to convince God to do things He already said He would do!

3. Receiving depends on expectation.

Mark 2:5 NKJV
When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”
Contrast
Luke 5:17 NKJV
Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
Mark 6:5 NKJV
Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.

4. The Same Power that Saves You- Heals You!

Luke 5:22–25 NCV
But Jesus knew what they were thinking and said, “Why are you thinking these things? Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’? But I will prove to you that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “I tell you, stand up, take your mat, and go home.” At once the man stood up before them, picked up his mat, and went home, praising God.
Romans 8:11 NKJV
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
