It might feel like nothing will ever change.
It may feel like heaven is silent for you.
It might feel like God has no interest in your life.
It may feel it.
All around is Darkness.
Nothing silence.
But God.
God bursts having into our world and gives us that thrill of Hope.

We need real hope to keep us rejoicing.
We need that under that understanding that God is with us.
The problem is that hope deferred makes the heart sick.

What about the wise men who traveled so far?

So beautiful.
We can we can have that.
That can be us.
We can feel so insignificant so lost.
But sometimes lost is okay.
The Magi might have felt lost.
They didn't know where they were.
They didn't know where they were going.
But they knew they had to follow the star.
Sometimes we get so determined, not to get lost.
But this year, we all find herself.
Last week.
We have our five-year goals and our life plans are out the window, you know, we may have had serious health problems, come up.
We may have had relationships collapse.
We may have had financial difficulties, and some of us have had all three and and and it's during a pandemic.
There is never been a better year to know to really know to live with hope that will not disappoint.
The hope that can't be deferred.
We have been waiting and we have been floundering.
We've had the goalposts move again and again and again.
We thought there were answers and we've been disappointed.
We've been told to wait and we've been told to be patient and we've been told to wait more and we've been told to have more patience.
I want you to remember today that hope can take you to places that you've never imagined.
We might not even know what we're looking for, but we may find cod in a way.
We didn't expect.
You need to be like the wise men who followed the star.
What's the star for our weary soul?
It's hope.
It's real hope.
It's the thrill of hope that allows our weary soul to rejoice.
Real hope comes with real faith, in and faith is simply our natural response to his revelation.
Shepherd's weren't filled with hope until he changes were there.
Were they waiting?
Yeah, did they want things to change?
So yeah.
Were they happy with their current lot?
Probably not.
But God showed up.
And hope sprung out.
You can have peace and joy and hope at all times, and in every situation.
It doesn't come from sticking your head in the sand.
It's not a guarantee when everything is sunshine and rainbows.
It's a walk of faith.
