The first time I grappled with the commonality of the name Jesus - a coworker was called out for cursing with the name of Jesus in my presence, then innocently proclaimed ‘there’s lots of Jesus’ running around in Mexico’.
In English speaking world, we have Joseph, Joshua, etc. . . . which all have the same or similar meaning
Jesus was not an uncommon name in Jesus’ day
The name Jesus does mean something - Mt 1.18-22.

Christ - the anointed one, the one who carries all of the meaning of the word Jesus.
Many carry the name of Jesus, but their ways lead to death and destruction
