On the other hand a religious gift , could mean the person giving the gift is a religious person and goes to church.
A gift can represent the value and importance that the one giving has toward the one who is receiving the gift.

The gift can also be given to strengthen or restore a relationship.

SOME DETERMINE IF THE GIFT IS PERFECT BY THE VALUE OF THE GIFT. SOME FEEL THE MORE EXPENSIVE THE GIFT THE MORE CHANCE IT HAS OF BEING THE PERFECT GIFT.
SOME BELIEVE THE GIFT IS THE PERFECT BY THE MOTIVE OF THE GIVER.
SO THEN DOESN’T MATTER HOW MUCH THE GIFT COST, BUT IF
YOUR MOTIVES BEHIND YOUR GIVING IS LOVE THEN THAT ‘S ALL THAT MATTERS.

When they talk to Herod no such honor was given but they fell down and worshipped HIM.
When we come to Jesus then there is desire for those who
fall in Love with Jesus to bow dow and worship HIM

With ourselves , we must give up all that we have to Jesus Christ .
Full surrender requires that we surrender ALL
AND IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO PART WITH WHAT IS DEAREST TO YOU
UNTIL WE PRESENT OURSELVES AS A LIVING SACRIFICES
Then They Presented their gifts to Him.
