1 If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,
2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:

Think about the purpose

Think about this over and over
How can you make this happen
Phil 4:8 “8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
Don’t think negative
Every church will have challenges
What you focus on, you magnify
Whatever you feed will grow
Feed positive thoughts into your subconscious and conscious mind

You will only hear what you give yourself over to
The more junk you hear, the more junk comes out of you
The more Word you hear, the more Word comes out of you
We all want to hear the voice of God but few are willing to wait for Him to speak
We need to remove the noise to hear His Voice
Is 6:8 “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!””
Many want to rush to “Then I heard...”
Here is what precedes this verse,
Is 6:1-7 “1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” 4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. 5 “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.” 6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.””
Be humble
Know that God communicates with us
Don’t force God to tell you something
Be patient
Repent
Tune your ears to God’s Word and voice

Whatever you look at, eventually, you will imitate
There is an old saying, “Monkey see, monkey do”
A person who imitates someone else just by looking at someone else’s actions
The Apostle Paul said, 1 Cor 11:1 “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.”
Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ
The more time you spend with godly people, the more godly your actions will be
Heb 12:2 “2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Let us fix our eyes
What you look at, eventually, you will imitate
Be courageous enough to see the unchangeable change

Speak life
Speak your success like a present fact
Don’t allow fear to change your speech
Don’t worry about the “How”
Leg go of “How”
God is able
Jn 12:49 “For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it.”
Don’t manipulate what God speaks
If you are not in His word, His word will not come out of you
God told Moses, “Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”
Lk 12:11-12 “11 “When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, 12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.””
When you spend time in His presence, reading His word, the Holy Spirit will remind you of what you have learned
Jn 14:26 “26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”
Get the Jesus Attitude by getting into God’s Word
Your speech will then turn into action
Jesus practiced what He preached
Invite others to church because you attend church

Surround yourself with godly people
Surround yourself with people that support you
Surround yourself with people of like mind
Surround yourself with people of like purpose
Surround yourself with people of like love
Ps 122:1 “1 I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.””
Get excited to be in the House of God
Your anticipation propels you to participation
Your participation sets you up for your miracle manifestation
Ps 16:11 “You have make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Don’t let the opinions of others keep you from His presence
Jesus died so that you can enter His presence
Don’t be a spectator, get in His presence
