Looking at a Joseph's wife still in the next weekend and Friday.
We are going to focus our messages on on our savior's birth and coming in and what a joy that is.
But I have wanted to bring us into this part of of Joseph's life.
And you know, sometimes God does things different in my life when I'm preaching a sermon.
Just a really hit it home and and sometimes that's really good.
Other times.
It's really difficult and end.
This week was one of those difficult weeks where I was ministering to and striving with an individual that I've been Ministry, 24 years, that continues as as it appears on the outside to be running away from God. Poor decision after Poor decision.
Nnsa work, with this individual.
My heart broke.
And I found myself asking, God.
God.
Are you even doing anything in his life?
And as I Was preparing the sermon that, it's just kind of remind me.
Yes, Jedi.
Am I, am I am.
Oh, what a blessing that we serve The Great.
I Am, isn't it?
I will say though it was a blessing however to see through this situation as my family observe.
Do they get to observe a lot of things sometimes, as they observed to watch and see how God work in my children's lives in these situations in these things that came up this week to watch how God works in.
My wife's hearts in life is as difficult, things came up.
Most importantly, as I prepared this message as I ministered, I could reflect and see how God was taking that shizzle Thang Thang and working on my heart and working in my life.
And I appreciated that and I came to the realization that, you know, what?
Sometimes it's really, really difficult.
The see God working in someone else's life.
And I know that there's even some here today that can look around this room.
And and you may be going man.
I wish God would work in so-and-so's life this way.
I know that sometimes are our spouses that look at their spouse and wish God would work in a certain way.
I know that their parents are looking through children and say, I wish God would work in a certain way.
This grant.
Is it look at grandchildren say I wish God would work in a certain way.
And the truth is, we sometimes don't get to see how God is working.
But he is and I hope by by the end of this morning, you.
You will understand that in a greater way.
I love as we go through scriptures, as as we look at the many lives that God gives us a window into their soul into their heart.
Does that sometimes we get to see some amazing things?
Sometimes.
Just a glimpse I think of Enoch Enoch is one of my heroes in scripture.
He became a father and then he started following God.
And that's about all we know about Enoch.
The guy mentions him.
And we get a glimpse and then there's a person like David.
Oh my goodness.
We meet David.
When he's a teenager and we get to follow his life all the way to his death.
And we get to see his heart through the Psalms as he writes those things about his heart for God, how God is working in his heart.
We get to see his fault.
So I would not want God to reveal my faults and scripture, but he we get to see his faults.
We get to see his victories.
A man like David I think of Peter and John those are some of the disciples man.
We really know.
Well don't we and we fall in love with John's heart for his Savior.
Jesus Christ.
I mean there there's no other disciple that expresses his heart and love for Jesus by John does there's no one Boulder or more direct and to-the-point as Peter is a, we get to follow their lives.
We get to see their hearts in the Epistles that they give us and then there's the disciple like Thaddeus.
You like there was a disciple Thaddeus.
Really?
Yeah.
And I love that name.
I have a friend.
His name is daddy.
I love it.
We don't know much about Thaddeus, but you know what?
We know that God chose him.
We know that God used him.
Don't know much else.
I mean it's it was one of the 12. Can we get those glimpses?
We have to remember that when God gives us a glimpse into the lives of individuals in scripture, when he opens that window just a little bit, it is not.
So we can go and Argo man.
I'm better than that person.
It's not for that.
It's for his purposes.
So we understand God's purpose and working in our lives.
We understand how we can better our relationship and follow him closer burn from their examples, but more importantly, we learn about the character in The Majesty of this guy.
That we sir.
And as we as we look at The Narrative of Joseph's life, Joseph's wife is one of those lives that we get a lot of information about five, more chapters are given to his life than Abraham.
Yeah.
Every work into his life and we see some amazing things about how God is working.
And Joseph life, we get to see his his actions, what he's doing his reactions to situation in his heart.
We see how God is teaching him through life lessons.
All those lessons that we learned in life and we see the way he responds.
I want to stress though.
That bad does not mean that God was not working.
With Joseph's brothers.
It does not mean that God was not working in the heart of Jacob.
I just chose to not reveal and show us all of those things.
My goodness, would you can you imagine how big the Bible would be?
If he showed us how he was working in, someone's heart to the nth degree.
What would the book look like on your life?
If we could see the way that God was working in your heart and life.
Do we have what we have in today?
I want us to look at this narrative.
I want us to look at both Joseph slide, but more importantly I want us to look at his brother's lives.
We've been focusing, a great deal on Joseph and we have seen how God has worked in his life.
We have seen his his heart.
But as well as we look at Joseph, we seen that he has learned.
To wait.
How many of you of learn to wait?
How many you like that lesson?
