Worldly peace is defined as the freedom from disturbance, or a state in which there is no war.
Biblical peace, true “Shalom,” is taking action to restore a broken situation, it is wholeness and
completion.

Worldly peace is the absence of something, whereas Biblical peace represents the presence of someone.

Ephesians 2:14–18 ESV
For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.

Not only is Jesus the Prince of Peace, He is also the King of confrontation.

Matthew 10:34 ESV
“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.

Push through the hurt and suffering, push through the trials, because each step takes you closer to JESUS.

Philippians 4:4–9 ESV
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
In your pursuit of God’s total P.E.A.C.E.:
1. Pursue rejoicing in God
2. Entreat His help in demonstrating grace
3. Alert God to everything on your mind
4. Care about your input
5. Embrace His promises
