No nativity scene seems complete without the Wise Men, but they are perhaps some of the most misunderstood characters in the Christmas narrative. As we look at his account of the visit of the Wise Men in Matthew 2, we will see three very distinct reactions to the news of Jesus’s advent, and through those reactions, we will be led to consider our own. May our consideration of this account give us all the more reason to worship Jesus as the Magi did!
