How Much God Loves us!

Psalm 115:16–18 NKJV

16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men. 17 The dead do not praise the Lord, Nor any who go down into silence. 18 But we will bless the Lord From this time forth and forevermore. Praise the Lord!

The Lord has given us the earth and chooses to bless us in it.

He has not only given us the earth, but he has also given us the promise of eternal life in Jesus Christ.

Dead, unsaved, unforgiving human beings do not praise God for anything.

God’s people however, have lots to praise God for. Even in the face of tremendous struggle.

Sermon Outline

We are not here to be like the dead.

We are here to give praise to our God who has blessed us abundantly even when we feel He has not.

The Lord has given us the greatest gift anyone could give us. Jesus Christ!

Why do we praise our God?

He is trustworthy (9)

He thinks of us. (12)

He blesses us (13)

He is worthy of our praise (15 -16)
