I. A distorted world.

• God was showing that His ways are greater than ours. (Isa. 55:8-9)
• Born to die. (John 3:16; 10:11, 17-18)
• God was showing that His purpose is eternal and His love is limitless.

III. A decisive opportunity.

• God's amazing offer. (II Cor. 5:17)
• Our amazing opportunity.
