Four Names

Wonderful Counselor

Something done that is wonderful, extraordinary, miraculous
Along with divine, wise planning, decision-making

A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God.
This Son is identified with God
Something, someone special to cause Him to have God’s name

Father - very rare way to describe just some king
On the throne of David forever
This is no merely normal human ruler
The “Father of Eternity”

Prince of Peace

Peace implies an end to war
The war is our separation from God

Messiah came to offer peace, reconciliation, only understood by believers, accepting this gift

GOD WITH US - IMMANUEL

With any who would, and will, accept Him
