Worship directs us to what God is doing… not what we are feeling.
We are feeling terrified.… overwhelmed…
Our worship and our message is terrifying …
That’s why many will change it… Make it go a different direction.
But when it’s real worship it directs us to Jesus…. Which is is HUMBLING.

Rome calls for peace through power, whether celtralized or dispersed
But Christmas call me to worship a servant King, Lord.
Christmas call me to trust the humble and meek power of God.
Christmas calls me to see the signs that point to really redemption, a God who saves, and the process by which God brings peace on earth.

When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.
When worship takes us to Jesus and his promised work… (Salvation)… Common Servants are transformed into bold ambassador.
Messengers of God News… Our worship becomes like that of the Angels… Scary, but directional.
One of our messages should be, “I know this is scary, but do be afraid.” But this message directed me to a humble king.

We should boldly point to Jesus and stick to his message!

But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.
she is likely struck by the simplicity of her surroundings and her unexpected visitors.
Or maybe she is wrestling with what God’s sending His Messiah into such humble and ordinary circumstances might mean.
Although Mary doesn’t understand everything perfectly, she realizes something profound and significant has happened.
The full cost of her choice to be part of God’s plan only becomes clearer with time.
