Honoring those that have passed.
What has God done for us as a church in 2021?
One of our long time members Rodger Weber left $50K
Our church like many others were able to apply for a $100k PPP loan that kept our church afloat.
Before I arrived we were forgiven of the 1st of two PPP loans.
We were able to re-open our church doors. My first Sunday candidating.
God called Tam and I and many of you to Church on The Hill
June 5-6 Nakatini’s / Lambert’s help lead 24 prayer / God bless us outside of us
Nancy Walden and I did our best to cut our budget and presented a Red Sea budget to you. In June when we voted for our budget I implored you to “Trust God” By faith you agreed and God has blessed us
As of right now we are still on track to make our fiscal 21-22 budget.
God utilized Jennie’s hard work and we were forgiven our second $100k PPP loan / No debt. I assumed we would have to pay back the second.
God placed a burden on one of our families hearts to help us get a youth pastor then two more families stepped up as well. (A two year commitment)
Another member of our church stepped up and fully funded a new fence around our preschool that we have been wanting to do for years.
List of things that need to get fixed or other needs. (from staff and others) This will take years.
Nope not for God. MRM Grant $317,000 (5 things from 2020 vision)
Main Water Line/Backflow, North Forty
Replace Galvanized Water Pipes (Interior)
Retro-fit Interior lighting to LED
Worship Center Video Screens Updated
Replace all concrete/improve Courtyard
Other funding could come our way in 2022 to help us put bathrooms in our preschool for teachers
I was informed this month that next year our long time church member Brent Foster gifted the church another unexpected gift from his living trust.
What is God up to? Preparation for the next season of ministry.
"Most churches are doing OK for now. But there's a segment that's really struggling and taking a hit, week after week."After reviewing several kinds of research – including patterns in finances and attendance – Kinnaman sent a shockwave through social-media channels with his recent prediction that 1 in 5 churches will close in the next 18 months. - David Kinnaman

18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
If God is for us who could be against us. I believe God has huge plans for us.
God is going to use Church on The Hill to reach those that do not know or want Him yet.
20 And Isaiah boldly says, “I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.”
We experienced major breakthrough from our last focused time of prayer.
God has put on my heart another focused time of prayer.
Set up: God’s uses the Assyrian’s and the Babylonians to deliver His punishment on wayward Judah and Isreal. The Assyrians scattered God’s ppl all over the then known world. Then the Babylonians came and destroyed and nearly depopulated Jerusalem.
3 They said to me, “Those who survived the exile and are back in the province are in great trouble and disgrace. The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates have been burned with fire.” 4 When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.
Starting on March 9th of next year I want to help lead Church on The Hill in a 40 day of prayer and fasting.
God put on my heart that we are to seek Him for personal breakthroughs and breakthroughs for the future of our church.
God is not done with you, me, or our church yet.
