Experiencing the Love of Christ
Experiencing the Love of Christ
Knowing God has a transforming effect on a person spiritually and morally and makes that person bold in actions for God. Not knowing God in the present will result in dissatisfaction and degeneration into wickedness and in the future will bring eternal alienation from him.
When we are truly made complete, we do not need counterfeits/substitutes.
God’s love, found in His Word, allows us to be made complete.
Being Made Complete
Being Made Complete
A. Fullness of Life
Our spiritual growth comes with the understanding the fullness of God's love and of His power, which can only be found through the study of Scriptures.
One of the tricks of the enemy, is to not only deny God's truth, but to bend it, until it becomes unrecognizable.
We experience the fullness of life, when we realize God’s way is better.
Satan's lies are an attempt to counterfeit the Word of God.
B. Fullness of Gods Power
To the average person a counterfeit is not easily noticed, but there are specialists who are trained by looking at the real thing day-in-and-day-out; these are experts in dealing with counterfeits.
We too can go beyond being the average Christian, and can get to know the true Word of God, and know when there is a counterfeit.
The Word of God allows us to experience the fullness of God's love as it impacts us causing us to demonstrate love and care for others around us.
We truly experience the full power of God, as the Word activates and we find ourselves caring more about those around us, rather than simply our own needs.
