Welcome/Introductions
Welcome/Introductions
Good Morning Everyone. I want to welcome you as well as theses 3 families to this morning’s baby dedication.
Let me introduce the three families and 4 children being dedicated this morning.
As I’m doing this, Ms. Elise Urbina, our EHBC KIDS Children’s Director will be giving each family a gift for their child.
We have the Ashbacher Family.
Parents, Jay and Heather along with their daughter, Taylor. Taylor is 2 1/2 years old. She is joined by her older brother Eli.
Next is the Clark Family
Parents, Trevor and Amanda along with their daughter Amelia and son Davis.
Amelia is 3 years old and Davis is just a couple months past a year old.
Next is the Montano Family.
Parents, Dominic and Lindsey along with their daughter Khloe.
Khloe is just a day over 7 months old.
This morning’s Baby Dedication is a wonderful moment for the parents and the child.
this is a time for the parents to make a public statement of faith to raise their child under God’s grace and wisdom.
Parents, dedicating your child to God shows that you recognize your child as a gift from God and you each are now dedicating yourself to being a godly example to your child.
But let’s make this clear, this morning’s Baby Dedication does not secure salvation for your child, instead this is a symbolic moment of entrusting your child’s life to God’s Will.
Let me share with you from Psalm 127.
3 Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.
4 Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands.
5 How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them! He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates.
Look back at verse 3.
God’s plan for your child has been in place long before you even thought about children. God’s Hand has been instrumental in your child’s life.
13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
16 You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
Again, remember what I shared before:
Dedicating your child to God this morning shows that you recognize your child as a gift from God and you each are now dedicating yourself to being a godly example to your child.
To entrust your child’s life to God’s Will.
Let’s speak God’s Truth into your child’s life today.
Church family, will you please join us as we dedicate these 4 children.
