2 Timothy 3:14–15 KJV 1900
14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

you have learned God’s Word and put it to the test. You are assured of its reliability.
Brings us great joy to be able to say this one word to you, “continue.”
Never forget meeting you in your parents home, not I bring my 13 year old son to learn from you.

Because of whom thou hast learned them

Timothy had godly mother and grandmother the Bible speaks of
We are blessed to be able to look out and see many of the “whom you have them”
Learned from the age of a child

Because their ability to change your life

2 Timothy 3:13 KJV 1900
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
Evil men get worse and worse
But you are continuing in what you learned and growing in faith
the introduction of the Word into your family is the only thing that made that difference
We are not better but we have been blessed to have been taught better.

Because it is how we are to build our lives and our families

2 Timothy 3:16 KJV 1900
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
This Bible is literally big enough to build the foundation of a home

Continue in your absolute allegiance to the unchanging truth of God's Word, the Bible.

Stay here.
Do not move away from it.
Build your life on it.
Build you family in it.
Build your church by it.
Build men around it.
2 Timothy 3:17 KJV 1900
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Today we say that we have confidence that you will continue in the work of the Word. The confidence is not in our ability to train you but in the Words ability to thoroughly furnish you unto all good works he has for you in Nepal and beyond.
