It’s a new year! That means new opportunities, new plans and new experiences – I wonder what they will be? It’s always a time of hopeful (and maybe cautious) wondering, isn’t it? What will the year bring? What will change or stay the same? What shall we prioritise or focus on?
On our first Sunday of 2022, we want to consider the essential importance of focussing on the heart. Through the story of David’s selection as king, we’ll think about God’s choice being based on the heart rather than the appearance. And it’s important we do the same as we make new plans and resolutions for the new year.
