Four Things You Can Count On In 2022

Psalm 37:23-31

Psalm 37:23–31 ESV

The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand. I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread. He is ever lending generously, and his children become a blessing. Turn away from evil and do good; so shall you dwell forever. For the Lord loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever. The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice. The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slip.

Take comfort in 2022 of God’s care for you.

20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide himself anymore, but your eyes shall see your Teacher.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. Psalm 37:23

Confess this with me.

Today, God is ordering my steps

I am walking in the way He leads me

He has placed me on a firm rock

My every step is directed and secured by Him

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

Promise #1: I am your strength.

“I can do all this through him who gives me strength” (Phil 4:13).

Promise #2: I will never leave you.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Promise #3: I have plans to prosper you.

“For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’” (Jeremiah 29:11).

Promise #4: I hear your prayers.

“And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it” (John 14:13-14).

Promise #5: I will fight for you.

“The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm” (Exodus 14:14).

Promise #6: I will give you peace.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27).

Promise #7: I will always love you.

“In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent His only son into the world, so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that He loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:9-10).

Consider these goals for 2022:

To read the Bible and pray every day.

To give money away.

To service in some way.
