Luke 51 Now it happened that while the crowd was pressing around Him and listening to the word of God, He was standing by the lake of Gennesaret;

2 and He saw two boats lying at the edge of the lake; but the fishermen had gotten out of them and were washing their nets.

3 And He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little way from the land. And He sat down and began teaching the people from the boat.

4 When He had finished speaking, He said to Simon, “Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.”

5 Simon answered and said, “Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing, but I will do as You say and let down the nets.”

6 When they had done this, they enclosed a great quantity of fish, and their nets began to break;

7 so they signaled to their partners in the other boat for them to come and help them. And they came and filled both of the boats, so that they began to sink.

If you are going to achieve anything in the year 2022, you must be able to pinpoint exactly what it is you are going after...

but none of these are effective if you have not pinpointed where your end goal is. a gps only tells you how to get where you have determined you are going, (traveling with Bishop I would drive first, then enter the destination) ASK SOMEONE `WHERE ARE YOU GOING?

This is why I love the gospel of Luke because of it’s detail in every account, to the point that the location of this miracle is pinpointed because other translations will just say it happened in the sea of Galilee and yes it did happen on the sea of Galilee but Luke says I want to make sure you know exactly where this miracle took place not just in the sea of Galilee but specifically in the lake Genessaret, thats why you must pin point your vision for 2022 so that when God brings your next miracle he won’t have to guess where to bring it because you’ve already told him on December 31st where to drop off the miracle, somebody shout bring the miracle here, Lord. And the only way you see God move is by your level of expectation, the scripture starts out by telling us that the reason Jesus even needed a boat is because the people were pressing him and listening to the word of God, this is interesting because we are currently in a time where the miracles, signs and wonders are scarce and found in sections of the Earth, and its not because no one is available, its not that no one is willing, but the people don’t expect to see miracles, there is a difference between wanting and expecting. All of us want a miracle but some of us actually expect a miracle, all of us want the blind eyes open, but not all of us expect the blind to see, all of us want better but not all of us expect to be better and the reason you can tell who wants and who expects is by their press. You can tell me you want to a new house, but if you’re not caught up on your bills now you aint expecting nothing, you can tell me you want to get married, but if you aren’t working on your stubborness you aint expecting nothing, if you tell me you are expecting another level in God but I dont see you in prayer or at Bible study you aint expecting nothing, it’s simple math that nothing from nothing leaves nothing and the only way God is going to bring you anything is when he sees you preparing, Elisha asked the widow ‘what do you have in your house?’ and she knew what she had so that she would know how big the miracle was, Jesus asked the disciples ‘what do you have?’ and they said 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread, so that when the miracle came, they knew how big of a miracle it was, and while youre preparing you ought to know what you have so that when the miracle comes you’ll know it was nobody but God that could’ve done this for you, ask your neighbor ‘what do you have?’

And because of the size of their expectation, Jesus must go to another level so he looks over and sees two ships sitting at the edge of the lake, and he sees fishermen outside of the boats and theyre washing their nets to symbolize they are done for the day, and this where some of us have been the past few months you said if the miracle was going to happen it would have happened by now, if the relationship was going to work it wouldve happened by now, if the business was going to launch it would have happened by now, and because you feel like you’ve made it to the end of the day and you have started to wash your net and I don’t blame you because it seemed to have worked for every other entrepuenuer, it seems to have worked for their relationship, it seemed to have turned around for your neighbor but if i can beg of something please don’t wash your net, tell your neighbor don’t wash your net, because the text tells us that Jesus decides to get on one of the boats and it happens to be Simon’s boat and he is about to work a miracle for Simon but he first needs him to pull away from the shore, and God is ready to shoot you forward but he first must pull you away from the shore, and youve been too comfortable in whats not challenging you, youve been too safe on the shore, but if you are going to complete that idea you are going to have to pull away from the shore and journey into the unknown tell somebody pull away from the shore, some of your friends are shores, some of your family members are shores, and you can be your own shore but im telling you there are no fish on the shore only in the water tell somebody pull away pull away.
