There is a biblical principal that principal is that there is a time for everything. Everything has its season(Ecc 3) .
Including a time of singleness.
God gives us a time in which we can grow and become who HE needs us to be.
We must learn to use a time of singleness to grow
Marriage is a great thing instituted by God. Actually the first time we see say something isn’t good is when Adam was alone.
Genesis 2:18 “18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.”
So here are a few things we have to talk about in regards to making sure we’re the right one
Relationship precedes creation
God is triune

Know your Purpose

It is so very important we know our purpose not only does it help us but as men if we have no purpose of destination we can’t lead anything.
Jesus even states a blind leader is a bad one
See God created Adam single; a single man and it wasn’t until Adam had begun working and keeping the garden that God gave him that God introduced marriage & Eve to him.
Ruth would have never found Boaz had she not gone into the field to work
Rebecca would have never found Isaac had she not gone to water the animals at that well
Before the person must first come a purpose. We were made to do more than just exist!
So what is our purpose? Specifically I can’t tell you but I can tell you generally:
Ecc 12:13 “13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”
1 Thess 4:3 “3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:”
1 Thess 5:18 “18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
Romans 12:1-3 “1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Acts 1:8 “8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
1 Cor 10:31 “31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
We must know our purpose because that will cascade into everything we do

Be the right person

We must be integral, complete, and whole.
One as Christians we are to be complete in Christ
Col 2:10 “10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:”
We Must have a relationship with God before we can effectively have a relationship with someone else!
How’s our walk? Here is some scripture that’ll help with that.
Romans 13:13 “13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.”
Gal 5:16 “16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”
Eph 5:2 “2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.”
1 John 1:7 “7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
Amos 3:3 “3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”
Are we agreed with God?
2 Cor 5:7 “7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)”
Mal 2:6 “6 The law of truth was in his mouth, And iniquity was not found in his lips: He walked with me in peace and equity, And did turn many away from iniquity.”
Are we walking with God?

Know your position?

Do you know what and how God feels and says about you? This can and will give us confidence in life, ministry, and relationships
