We will spend a few moments today, looking at 4 Places where we can acknowledge God’s presence in our lives...

Looking Back - Thank Him! 1 Thess.

5:16-18

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

I trust there are places in your life where God has demonstrated His faithfulness to you!

2. Looking Ahead - Trust Him! Phil.

3:13-14

13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.

But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

More growth, more fellowship, more Worship, more prayer, more learning His Word, more leaning into Him, more...

3. Looking Around - Serve Him! John 4:31-35

31 Meanwhile his disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat something.”

32 But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.”

33 Then his disciples said to each other, “Could someone have brought him food?”

34 “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

35 Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’?

I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields!

They are ripe for harvest.

See the possibilities!

We have opportunities unlimited!!! (Do we really hunger for the food of God’s will?)

4. Looking Up - Expect Him! Titus 2:11-15

 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.

12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

15 These, then, are the things you should teach.

Encourage and rebuke with all authority.

Do not let anyone despise you.
