The Visions
His 1st vision is God’s great love for Jerusalem and its people
next vision is of the 4 horns/ world empires who are oppressing the People
with the 4 Horns will be the 4 De-horners
with the last craftsman who is the stone who crushes these world empires
the 3rd vision was the millennial Kingdom with Jesus as the king of the world
the 4th vision
with the High Priest, Joshua, who represents the people that are saved by grace
Next is the 5th vision.
now we see Zerubbabel the governor of Jerusalem who is in charge of building the temple

PRAY
The Golden Lamp stand
Last week we saw Joshua the spiritual leader of Israel
and by grace we saw the people saved
by grace God removed the guilt and sin from the people
by grace God replaced the barn clothes from them and replaced with robes of Righteousness
this week we are looking at Zerubbabel the political leader of Jerusalem
in this vision we are going to see their near future and the Millennial Kingdom
the vision
a Menorah with a bowl/reservoir
7 lights with 49 pipes going from the bowl to the lights
2 olive trees with golden pipes going to the bowl
for a constant never ending supply to the flames
a light that never goes out
the same as the lampstand in the tabernacle
only this one had to be filled and the wicks trimmed, daily

like the burning bush it was not consumed
this menorah was a light that did not go out
constantly supplied by 2 olive trees
The Message To Zerubabbel
the light to the world is not by a large dominating army
not through strength, or cunning, maneuvering or any other tactical way to bring the light
only through the Holy Spirit
the craftsmen who originally built the tabernacle did so through the Holy Spirit
David led Israel in the power of the Holy Spirit
Samson was extremely strong through the power of the Holy Spirit
Zerubabbel primary mission was to build the temple
the temple that will replace the temple of Solomon
the temple that is now just a small foundation of stones
a people who are discouraged
a small remnant of people who should be there
so Zerubabbel its not by strength not by might that this temple is going to be built
you cant force people to work hard
you cant provide all of the building materials
you cant put skill into people
you have a mountain to move
The Holy Spirit will move that mountain
the Holy Spirit will motivate the people to the hard work
will supply the materials/ Jesus and the boys lunch
Will supply the skill
the temple will be built and the capstone will be put on with shouts of
Its beautiful - Beautiful Grace - grace unto it
because it was built by grace
you will know that God is involved if the impossible is done
you will know that God is with you if the impossible is done
this project took 2 more years to complete
it was not an instant thing/ it took persistence, and patience to complete
this temple is small compared to Solomon’s
probably Solomon’s outhouse was bigger
but this temple God is pleased with
this temple is what the Holy Spirit had you build
don’t despise the small things
don’t compare to others
God is the one we need to please, And Jesus /the eyes that roam around the earth, rejoiced when He saw the carpenters tools in Zerubbabel’s hands
don’t be discouraged with the mission God has given you
don’t despise the smallness
don’t give up doing what God has called you to do
What does the light have to do with the building of the temple?
the world could see that the temple was supernaturally built
the temple was the place on earth that the true God is
the light to the nations comes from Israel
The Two Trees
what are these two trees? he asks

what are the the branches that supply the oil
this vision and the last there were 2 offices
The High priest spiritual leader = Joshua
the king / Governor the civil leader= Zerubbabel
they have their Heaven given responsibilities
Holy Spirit powered responsibilities
as long as they obey and rely on God to do their work
they will fulfill the mandate to bring light to the world
but remember this is also a vision of the Millennial Kingdom
these two offices will be filled by one person
the one who comes in the order of Melchizedek
Jesus who will fill the office of prophet, Priest , and king
