Intro:
A lady cam to visit a very wise man, with the intention of putting him to the test.
She brought artificial flowers so perfectly formed that no human eye could detect them from real flowers.
She put them in a vase on his table, in his dining room next to his other flowers.
As he came in, she sai to the man, “Sir, you are reported to be the wisest man in the world.
Tell me without touching these flowers, which are real and which are artificial.”
It is said that the man studied the flowers for a long time and spoke nothing, until finally he said, “Open the windows and let the bees come in.”
There are ways to tell the artificial from the real—let the bees come in; they will know where the real is.
If we live with the authentic Jesus long enough, we will recognize the artificial when we see it.
Today’s thought reminds us of the authentic Jesus.
He is the only one that can deliver us from a life of wrong living.
The real question is; will we allow him to be the Jesus that he was sent to be for us?
Who’s Account Matters

I’m purpose-filled: Ephesians 2:9-10, Acts 1:8
I’m fruitful: John 15:5, John 15:16, John 10:8,10
I’m free: 1 Corinthians 15:56-57
Progression Not Regressing

He spoke of his Deity in verse 34 to let the people know that His life would bring salvation.
Only He could make that claim.

Jesus pointed out that the witness of John was good of his testimony of Jesus.
Some people never get passed the first experience with Christ to know there is much more.
More relationally and experientially.
The Proof Is Overwhelming
The works of Jesus should have been the proof needed that He was the Messiah.
The power of God came with evidence in the form of miracles.
It’s often that people don’t believe even when it’s obvious.
The blinders of sin are heavy
Pretending to be right with God is a real thing among people.
It happens in the church.
It happens in the world.
The difference is the church people have a harder time seeing the pretending in their life because everyone is telling them they are ok.
It a matter of Knowing not wondering.
Not being right with God is a serious offence.
If the word is not abiding in a person there is no real relationship.
Jesus want all to know Him in a personal way.
Conclusion:

What will you do with Him today?
