Simon's Feast - Matt - Matt. 26:6-13; Mark 14:3-9; Luke 7:36-50; John 12:1-9
Setting: Simons House in Bethany
Characters: Simon the Pharisee, The Disciples, Mary Magdalene, Judas Escarriot, Jesus
Scene: Simon and Judas sitting side by side to Jesus, both condemning Mary, but Simon was the one who led her into sin. Jesus knows this but doesn't publickly expose him, and due to Mary’s example, Simon was converted.
Lesson: This story of forgiveness teaches us to Treat people as is they were what they ought to be and you help them to become what they are capable of being.
