The Garden of Eden and questions about of Noah and the flood and things like that that people want to have answers to the Bible but yet still don't want to go bad. So let's all go. Okay. So this is Bible Warfare. How to defend your faith. And we're going to make our way to a couple of questions today. And we're pretty much just going to label them Old Testament questions. That new testament questions based on or where those questions find their answer. It's alright, so let's get right to it. Let's look at the first one and maybe you guys can also participate in answering these questions as well. So the first question is an Old Testament question and it is why did God forbid eating from the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil God? Forbid eating from the Tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. And so people want to know why they do that. What was the point? Why didn't he just put them in the garden and leave me, right?

Everything was beautiful day. Everything was fine. Holy great temperature. Why didn't he just put them in there and leave them to be? He saw what he had created and said that it was very good. Why add the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. And and then why the Commandment that goes along with that, too? Because once we came and read the scriptures and we see that there was a tree of Good and Evil in the garden. There was a Commandment that was associated with that tree. Anybody remember what that was? Don't touch it. Don't eat from a lot of people's way of trying to debunked the Bible or trying to Devon. God is a good god or making him a petty guy that he would put them in his wonderful garden with everything available to them and I can't eat from that tree. What's what's up with that any class?

Ideas. Restart your back hurt. I just remember that.

Scripture in Romans chapter 2. Around versus Baton Rouge. Well basically saying is is that those as many of stand without law will also perish without law and admitting that they're going to send him the law on you judge by the law. So if there's not a standard Disestablished. Then there's lawlessness because there is no law. So as an example, if there was no speed limit posted, then no one could ever get speeding ticket because it would not be breaking the law. The tree in the garden. Was Abraham a direct command? You good want to do evil and they chose to do evil. So it was to establish the standard. Not that you need proof. Is it is a bad thing cuz some people don't understand. OK. Google is this, and that it wasn't that it was anything inherently bad or evil about the tree. But disobey the commandant was the error. When I said that, I am indeed committed, then OK, Google

Watch lots of the I try.

When he told Rob people wrestling this week, he told me what he did. He

We just didn't give her the full.

Problem is she didn't know how to handle it.

that so, From that point on?

One generation, I guess, once we get knowledge.

So God, damn.

Are gray Starts Now?

All right. So Dan says it was a, it is a part of God's grace and God's protection, a man knowing that we were eventually go wrong. So, that's why the Commandment not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, brother. You happy.

Everything that he had created.

I believe in myself that was the point test that God gave his being.

The temperature to open. Because we've been going downhill of mankind and his creation. We failed and we've been going downhill, ever since that's certainly true Anita.

Okay.

Good.

All right, that's excellent. Okay, Dan.

so, the question is, Why didn't I just put them in the car and leave me alone? Why does it have to be a tree of Good and Evil?

We have to understand. Safeway.

I compare between God and state and it's still making. Remember you said that I needed you had to go to ask something. Okay, I'll Tony. I just recently purchased. Could it be that this way man is in a period of growth? Could it be that okay, if I forgot to take me to the next level, let's see if he can do this, cuz maybe eventually He would have been mature enough to eat of the tree. So there's a process. Can you open this simple rule? Not to beat up cuz maybe God had an ultimate perfect formation.

Free will. There's definitely going to be a opportunity and a chance man is going to murder your mother Ciroc. And I didn't read work 13 on the regular stuff. He says for not the years of the law are just inside the guy, but the doors of the law. Black and pink flowers reading in the tube.

That's very good.

I'm glad you're safely. There will still be with men to do the top of it was in the car until something happens that I only said that basically knowing the difference between right and wrong. So if the tree or something like it had to be necessary to establish the standard because of the Bandit people and Dudley Q's hair. Then I know I had your money. If I could draw faster, if you do it faster than me. I left you alone.

Okay.

Okay.

Going to understand it is for our benefit not to argue traction.

The people that want to ridicule God for his discipline and his judgment and for bring up laws and commands overlooked, the fact that laws and Commandments and discipline have purpose and those purposes are good. Not bad. Tampa Bay free with a lowly affluent. You got to keep that in mind, okay.

Wendy's fries.

so,

And then come to realization. We can't live by law. Gentefied. Invictus. Driver school.

Messed it up. So I like that you guys are reaching for and trying to develop the contacts. You know, like Annie doesn't answer and Ted and Daniela. Are you trying to develop the context here? So let's back up a little bit. Because oftentimes when we get questions like this, we focus only on the question itself and it doesn't allow I was to consider all the ramifications. That's around that question considering gods and we are they are generally three things about him that we mentioned. They all start with a hole. Just fire to save us some time. What are those

I'm depressed. Oh, that's right. I'm you up.

And what was the other one, only present omnipresent? Hey, what is omnipresent to be? God is everywhere, right?

What is omnipotence mean? There's No Limit Out, father has authority over everything. He has a Power Authority, has potential power. All right, and what is omniscient? Knowing so God knows all things, right?

But let's deal with this. First one that you mention. God knows all things and then let's go to the Book of Genesis because that's where the Bible begins right and if we look at Genesis 1 and 1. What is the Bible read their Genesis 1 and 1. In the beginning in the beginning is God God in Matthew Wright and Joshua and Daniel. I have all the characteristics that we're talking about. All those characteristics are there in Genesis 1:1, right in the beginning. What is after in the beginning of next year? It is. So where we considered, we have to consider this also, right? Cuz that's who it is backed up all your heart. I do want her to ask questions and I really want to hear this.

Listen, Michelle. I saw in the beginning. God and so somewhere along the line in the Bible. He didn't become omniscient because of something that happened in Exodus, right in any developed these powers in the beginning. He already had that in the beginning and there was a next word created. So when God created, he did it with these characteristics already a part of who he is. So when he created, he did it with all knowledge. He knew everything right? And he did, he created what happens. A Nerf, right? And so, where do we find the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil is on the Earth, right? So when he made the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil and put it on Earth, he did it with all knowledge, right? And then we find out that he makes man, right? Now, when he makes mad, he also made man. These are the straw that you guys have been grasping at and try and explaining right by the answer. You talking about, that was a test and we failed it and we've been messing up ever since right in case. So so God had a purpose. He had knowledge that man didn't have or even his creation when he created the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil. All right, that's all God. We don't know what the purpose is at that time. Right? But God knows what the purpose is that the entire right? Turn to Genesis 2. Verse 60 and 70. And keep in mind, God knows what's going on. Man is going to do, that's going to surprise God, right? And he's even knows when Exodus comes along, the things that Moses on the children of Israel and Egyptians. Do not surprised. He knows that the Tabernacle and the temple and all that stuff is destroyed. And the way that man responds to his face and he knows the Temptations World in those, that we are successful over and knows that over, he knows about all that stuff, right? All right. I'll keep that in mind, but somebody read Genesis 2:16 and 17. Lord. God commanded, the man singing from any tree of the garden. You may eat freely. But from the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, you should not eat for in the day that you eat promised. You would surely die. OK? Google available. God already, has that. That knowledge is a part of himself now, when God made man, He, how did he make them? Individual Man In His Image now was forced. To create.

Know, why did he create? Cuz he wanted to know if you wanted to write. God has what? All knowledge. He has free. Free Will, and we see it in him, creating the Earth, the heavens and the Earth. Nobody forced them. He's not a robot that had to do that. He chose to do. So as soon as you choose to do something. Guess what? You have. What you have a choice, which is Free. Will a man, not a factors that go into why you choose things that you, you know, atheist want to argue that all the time while you're at your history, is what determines your future in and because you were brought up this way and that's why you chose so that I wouldn't really a choice, you just responding to factors in your environment kind of thing. Okay. Stay away from shows the cop out to justify simple, a absolutely has to create because he has Free Will and and yes he is. Create or we call him that. That's one of the words that we Define him as right. He's the Creator. So if he makes us in our image, and he has free will guess what we have.

Have free will and we also can make a, what a choice. So now we consider the guard. The tree. That's in the midst of the garden. We see that this is a contact for the exercise of free will. Right? Because we are Made In His Image. He use his free will to create and when he created that's what it was good. He said that over and over again, right. And we first being born, we are what we are infants and he's trying to raise us up into his image and order for that to be done as a good parent. What do you do with your children? You raise them up in the way that they should go, right? And so what do you think God might be doing here? Raising us up in the way that we should go. Right? So you explain two different ways, but you've done a pretty good job of explaining it. That's why I said it's a test. That's why I said, remember what you say about free will because this is part of the car all the way it would go. Because when There were a lot of other ways in the garden. We could have gone. I mean, he left, he left out of me with a lot of shows that one thing then which are so he's raising us in the way that we should go. So this, the tree in the midst of the garden is an exercise of our free. Will we have a choice? And this, we have a choice, we can choose to do what? We can choose to do good or we can choose to do and that's exactly what the tree represents. We are told that this is a tree of the knowledge of what we can choose good or evil. So there's my exercise. The first simple exercise. Eventual exercise that word that that as we mature and get older and moved from the elementary teachings cuz that's funny. How God put that together that we will be able to make better choices. But for now, the choice is what, when they, when they want to do something, when they're young, do we have to go through a full-blown explanation. This is why I don't want you to eat from the Tree of the garden in the misfit, in the midst of the Garden of Good and Evil, because when you eat it, you got is going to be bad and get to the point where you say no. And when they keep asking, what do you say? Why why do we say? Because I said so cuz they're not because they're too young to handle before. I can understand when we say. Hey, I don't want you hanging out with that person. I don't want you hanging out with them kids, right? And what's wrong with that? You're just you're just mean you just you just want me to have no fun. You know, what's the excuses? They break up with right? Just don't like this is wrong with you and it makes me weak and tired and we say Cuz I said so right. And so God is going through this exercise with us where the tree of the midst in the midst of the Garden of Good and Evil is as well. It's an exercise of our free will he knows we're going to choose to write because he was what he knew all things. He already knew all things. So that's why the Bible says from the very foundations of The World. God was already working on our Salvation. Okay. And so this tree also represents him working on our Salvation to. This is also a demonstration of our inability to do what's right. Because what would have been right? If we were Adam and Eve in the garden? To ignore the free stuff to do in the garden, plenty of stuff to do at the Wilderness to shame. Kalahari Resorts exercise of our Free Will and we demonstrate this with our children. We tell them what is good when they're young. And when they challenge it, we know they can't understand the explanation. So we just wait because I said so and then when we say I said so because I said so what are we establishing? We're stablish in our Authority. So guess what God is doing by putting a tree in the midst of the garden. He's giving an exercise of our Free Will and he is also establishing his authority. So the tree in the midst of the garden is to establish order and what's the order? God is first, is the ultimate Authority. God is in charge. Now, you can challenge his authority and he allows that because we are made in His image. And being made in His image, we have free will and by their free will, we cannot, we can choose not to do what he said, right? Nnn is as far as the atheist argument goes. That's a proof of the existence of God, that there's evil in the world. Not that there is no God. I'm atheist want to argue because as he is, God is all good. I can't be tempted by Eve and all that kind of stuff, and there is evil in the world. Then that means there's no God, right? No, it's the opposite because there is evil and you to use hers were cuz I use a lot myself because there's evil lets us know that there's a standard How do we know it's wrong to kill babies? Cuz there's a standard right? Murdering your brother. Why is that wrong? There's a standard there's a right and there's a wrong and we know the wrong and the good even because of the standard. So the existence of evil existence of God doesn't disprove. It proves that there is a God and the tree in the garden is to establish an order. Adam and Eve you are to listen to me. I am God, I am your God. I am your creator. I have I know what's good for you right now. Was it good for us to eat from the tree? No, I wouldn't do it at all. One day, we were walking around, naked, didn't care about clothes, didn't care. You know, if it is sauce naked, thinking of God saw us naked. At the moment. We ate from that tree in the midst of the garden. Guess what? We did. We went he did not when you come in the room and and your kids stop doing something real quick or what. Are you assume? And did something wrong, you come in your house after a long trip and your dog, put his head down and he wants and he won't come to you yet. What do you assume? What did you do? Right. That's what that's a natural reaction of the creation is to try to hide its failure from its creator. Okay, shame and guilt has a purpose. Okay? For me to go ahead.

First thing is, you know, state or shame because now there wasn't any work, the whole existence was pleasing, God and doing his will and so there was no self change. When they skunk strain on yourself and you probably get to this he probably heard this question. Why do guys who would freely choose to do good?

To do good, that's even possible.

So, otherwise, you're you're you're a rock. You're a robot.

Why not? Why did he just make them? Okay, this is

free Legion. After I got, I got an idea, but then, so why did he make that choice from the very beginning and only create the people that would obey? Freely, freely obey submitted. I think I think that that man God wants us to freely choose him and that's what this exercise begins and then the rest of the Bible story reveals to us and that we need to freely choose God. If we're going to be saying, what I would say is, is this in? Why don't you understand? If you choose to do bad things really to do, good, is those three things will not die. So, the assumption is that because he's God, then everything has been good. How do we know that in the course of choosing bad? Good will manifest in these different various Parks. That's that's good too. I would I would add to that if, if he were to do that and if that were possible, but I'm trying to say it is it, then we would not be made in His image. Okay, because when Jesus came to this earth, did he not have free will? Did he not have the ability to choose evil? But he didn't, and forgot, because Jesus is God, has free window. He could choose to do. What is? And we have to choose that, that, which is good. The standard, which is for our good. Alright, so I don't think because, and if you think about that, God has created things that freely choose to do good, but there was things are not made in His image or tree God, created a tree and the tree chooses to respond to the sunlight and to the water, it it automatically does that right? Lower the lower animals, they respond freely to their environment, but it's only in accordance to their nature, right? And so I have created things with free volition but those are Laura things. Those are things did not rise to the level of being made in His image. And that's what he did with us, but that he decided to shower his love on us and make us in His image. Now that comes with some responsibility to be made in the image of God, and it's going to take some, take some growth on our part to get into that image, a man. So that's a great question, 5:40.

That's the problem with abs and non-believers is taking the time to think about it, please about. Why we're here? And you think about the creation, it only makes sense that you would obey and do what the Creator and ask the bus because creator has given us a standard scripture where to buy weekend follow that and we can receive a reward. By the way, again, there is no reward in being a ps80 towards me and I believe it. And there is no reward and believing that is all dies. And then we have Why would someone accuse of belief with its no reward? Just when you think about it? It doesn't make sense to go through the whole argument. They will say that they have but you know, exercising their free will not to believe you. Welcome to do evil. Okay?

Tell us what the situation was safe.

My mind all the time. It's too powerful Gods. Fight and safety. And if you need to call him and you have heaven or not, you're going to hell so. Safe Choice. What? Why did God do that? Because God's off article for the creation, did it? We did it. We fail, we fail and sold it. Parts of the creation. Satan is not a, an omniscient, or omnipresent being, he was created. He also had a choice and and his choice of choosing to do evil head consequences to it. And he's also available at the same salvation that we are. Okay. Everything is saved under Jesus, not just us everything. And so he continues to choose he he can repair it just like we could repair. But he chooses not to, that's his choice. And and most of the Lord's creation we're told from the scripture is going to choose not to and and that's okay. You choose not to you just you get the consequences of it to, you know, in the end you don't get the reward of opposite of what you chose all your life. You know, if we use that example above tone, you're not at that would make God a good scooter. I'm going to make you love me, right? Women can probably a test this morning, the men, right? You know, the guy that follows you around and says, I'm going to make you love me. What do you think of that guy? A freak. I need a restraining order right now is not like that. Want you to freely choose Stephanie. You had your hand up early. I'm sorry.

Every single day. the Apollo

Why would you do that? Once again, he wants us to use our free will to choose him, men, and society and Mankind has made before us. More more of the choices that are that stand before us, that we wind up, picking from there's less and less good to choose from. And why is it less and less good to choose from Evil. That's the last good because there's nothing left in our society and our culture. And so, to answer your question about fighting against ourselves. We're only fighting against ourselves because of the culture that we're living in. It's difficult because of the time that we live in and in heaven. We're not going to have those same obstacles.

There is no sin there that the choices are going to be different. But you don't start with that because there have to be a choice to choose that you don't make everybody in heaven because there couldn't be a heaven because it couldn't be any love. And love Demands a choice. It can't be loved without a choice. So he creates us with by love and then we have to choose him by love so that we can exist with him eternally my love and so did the Destroyer dueling part the evil part that you and I deal with is not God's fault. That's our fault. Man, has sought out many inventions. And Adam and has not held back anything from the desire of his heart and his mind, and God tried to tell us, which way back in the garden, that what I had a whole bunch of good. I'll get everything out here is good. But there's one thing you should not do right? And back then it was one thing for us to do wrong. Now. There's like all kinds of things. Not because God created.

But we created those things and they stand as the, the thing that represents that which is evil because they're opposed to the nature of God. Okay? With this good discussion, call her dad something. You were saying about how Satan looks like, one more point to before they close up. So, I actually read this interesting point where his idea to his idea of overthrowing the crew of overthrowing his creator, could only make any sense in anyone's mind. If Peyton didn't really believe, God was just Creator. And they point out that since Joe, 3847 implies that the that the Angels were created on day one, maybe Wednesday Wednesday want created. He looked around. Saw himself in God and just assumes God suddenly rose up with him and he all of the stories from the ancient world about Good and Evil Gods. Fighting each other may have met have been inspired by that event. I think that Satan came to some knowledge in his existence that God. What is his creator? I think, at some point, he let me get some point. We will have time to bring those up, but the exercise of free will understand that pretty good exercise. Establishes order. All right. In that order. The last one also demonstrates that moral Authority comes from God. So we know who has the ultimate Authority, who has the ultra power. That's God. And that's why we should talk to him because moral Authority comes from him and we say moral Authority. What do we mean? Man's costume man's conscious.

The decision was good and evil. Morals are what's good? And what's evil, right? So the authority on that the authority on what is good and what is evil? The Authority is God and the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil establishes that it establishes. God's authority over good and evil, right? We eat from that tree. We then try to demonstrate authority over things that are moral. And that Authority because we made the choice ends with us.

But we are not the moral Authority.

So, but that doesn't allow us to escape the consequences of our choices. So when we choose evil, unless we return to the authority of things that are moral, we will not escape the evil.

We have to go to God and that's a good news. We have chosen and if any of us would have been in that Garden you think you're all that and a bag of? You did probably ate from the tree quicker. We would have done the same play tayk. The last thing of this tablet is is God is the ultimate moral Authority. That's what that tree in the midst of the garden is and all these things work together for good, not putting evil, but the only work together for good for what those that love God. Yep. Okay. It's all in all. It's all summed up. Right there. Okay, let me get time cuz I didn't get to say anything real quick. I have to close today and God welcomes the challenge. You said that, he would say bring it on, cuz he can answer any question that we could possibly conceive. There are people who and that, that makes him. That makes him great and they do, as I say, not as I do, if they get caught, because I am more powerful than you. God is more powerful than us. And he could just stop at because I said so, but he doesn't, he doesn't want us to follow him. Blindly. He wants us to follow him because it's the right way to go that. The Bible teaches us. There's a time and a place for everything. There's a time and a place to stay because I said so. A bright, but he doesn't. That's not his woman. Right? Response would have been be not to touch the tree. Why would that have? Been good? Because he said, so that's what I'm saying. But that's where you start off and we use don't know. If you're here yet. We use the analogy of a parent with a child and when a child is Young, we don't explain everything to him because I said, so that's the time to place to do that. Now, when I get a little older, we should be prepared to give answers and that's what God has done because his Revelation to us is Progressive. He's added line upon line precept upon precept here a little and there a little while because he's bringing us along so that we can be that we could truly take his image that we could truly be molded and shaped it into the image of God and be saved from our bad choices. Okay. I'm at the stoplight there.

Praise the Lord that our understanding of who you are or what you, what you done, your, your ultimate Authority. Salute, true. Just burn in our hearts say. We can be ready to get an answer. Those at the reason for the client studying to become a better person. Your son's name.
