Discovering God’s vision for your life.
Discovering God’s vision for your life.
Materials by Kenneth C. Haugk
16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.
37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
6 For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
The first purpose of our lives is: To know and love God!
The first purpose of our lives is: To know and love God!
4 For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, 5 so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. 6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; 7 if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching;
5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
The second purpose of our lives is: To learn to love others!
The second purpose of our lives is: To learn to love others!
13 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
A third purpose of our lives is to: Serve God by serving others.
A third purpose of our lives is to: Serve God by serving others.
18 As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.
12 So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.
Purpose of life!

To learn to love others
Serve God by serving others
