The Comfort of our God Given to us Through His Son Jesus Christ

I thank my Savior Jesus Christ that He’s my Comforter.

Just as the apostle Paul has recorded in 2 Corinthians 1:5

2 Corinthians 1:5 (TPT)

And just as we experience the abundance of Christ’s own sufferings, even more of God’s comfort will cascade upon us through our union with Christ.

When Jesus suffering throughout His earthly ministry, He was faced with many trials and tribulations.

He was born from the Virgin Birth.

Joseph was His earthly Father and Mary was highly favored and chosen to be the vessel to birth the Messiah/Savior into the world.

Thus, fulfilling the prophecy which reported His coming into the world.

Isaiah 9:6

Isaiah 60:1 (ESV)

Arise, shine, for your light has come,

and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.

Matthew 2:4 (TPT)

So he called a meeting of the Jewish ruling priests and religious scholars, demanding that they tell him where the promised Messiah was prophesied to be born.

As Paul has uttered in 2 Corinthians 1:3-5

“The sufferings of Christ flows over into our lives,” and they continue to flow over us until Christ ushers history to its end.”

As the Word teaches with promises our very lives will include persecution and discipline coupled with God’s Blessings and Provisions.

He fills our lives with many blessings.

Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus—all because he sees us wrapped into Christ.

This is why we celebrate him with all our hearts!

Because the gift of your blessing upon our lives Lord Jesus.

You have redeemed us, forgiven us, shown us your mysteries, we’re in Christ Jesus.

Thank you for the blessing of your Holy Spirit to arrest, and dwell within us/me.

Thank for your eternal inheritance we are blessed.

Because You have blessed us we will worship You in the beauty of holiness.

We will obey You as we bless others because You have blessed me/us and I love you and because of who You are to me/us.

You are our Comforter: Matthew 2:2

Above his head they placed a sign that read, “This is Jesus of Nazareth, King of Israel.”

He is the King of the Jews.

He came as a Servant.

Mark 9:35 “Jesus sat down, called the twelve disciples to come around him, and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he must be content to be last and become a servant to all.””

Mark 10:43-44 “You are to lead by a different model.

If you want to be the greatest one, then live as one called to serve others.

The path to promotion and prominence comes by having the heart of a bond-slave who serves everyone.”

He’ s a Perfect man: Luke 2:40 “The child grew more powerful in grace, for he was being filled with wisdom, and the favor of God was upon him.”

Luke 2:52 “As Jesus grew, so did his wisdom and maturity.

The favor of men increased upon his life, for he was loved greatly by God.”

Luke 9:22 ““The Son of Man is destined to experience great suffering and face complete rejection by the Jewish leaders and religious hierarchy.

He will be killed and raised back to life on the third day.””

Why because He is the Perfect Man/Savior.

Luke 9:56-58 “So they went to another village instead.

On their way, someone came up to Jesus and said, “I want to follow you wherever you go.” Jesus replied, “Yes, but remember this: even animals in the field have holes in the ground to sleep in and birds have their nests, but the Son of Man has no place here to lay down his head.””

“So they went to another village instead.”

Luke 22:48 “Jesus looked at him with sorrow and said, “A kiss, Judas?

Are you really going to betray the Son of Man with a kiss?”” Judas betrayed Him not recognizing Him as the Perfect man and Savior of the world.

He’ s our Provider…He’s the Eternal God John 1:1-5 “In the very beginning the Living Expression was already there.

And the Living Expression was with God, yet fully God.

They were together—face-to-face, in the very beginning.

And through his creative inspiration this Living Expression made all things, for nothing has existence apart from him!

Life came into being because of him, for his life is light for all humanity.

And this Living Expression is the Light that bursts through gloom— the Light that darkness could not diminish!”

He’s the God of all Comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:1-15 “From Paul to God’s called ones, his church in Corinth.

I have been chosen by Jesus Christ to be his apostle according to God’s perfect plan.

Our brother Timothy joins me in writing to you and all the holy believers throughout the Roman province of Achaia.

May undeserved favor and endless peace be yours continually from our Father God and from our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!

All praises belong to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

For he is the Father of tender mercy and the God of endless comfort.

He always comes alongside us to comfort us in every suffering so that we can come alongside those who are in any painful trial.

We can bring them this same comfort that God has poured out upon us.

And just as we experience the abundance of Christ’s own sufferings, even more of God’s comfort will cascade upon us through our union with Christ.

If troubles weigh us down, that just means that we will receive even more comfort to pass on to you for your deliverance!
