I. Don’t Be Deceived vs. 7a.

A. Don’t be deceived into thinking that you won’t face the consequences of your sin. Sometimes we think we got away with something (some sin), but we don’t. We won’t know, this side of eternity, what blessings we lived without, or others as a result of God using us, because we faced the consequences of that sin.
B. Also don’t be deceived into thinking that what you do, isn’t “worth it”. God is walking and will reward you.

II. Don’t Sow in the Flesh vs. 7b-8

A. If you are sowing for the flesh, making money, for show, and being popular with the world, that will get you nowhere with God, even if some people make a lot of money from it. (Russell Moore ex).
B. If you sow in the Spirit, you will reap a reward. I Cor. 3:12-13
1 Corinthians 3:12–13 NASB95
Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work.
C. We will as Charles Stanley says “reap what we sow, more than we show, and later than we sow”.

III. Don’t Give Up vs. 9

A. Yet if you give up, there will be no reward.
B. The wait is worth it! Even though it doesn’t feel like it at times.
