Any friendship takes effort

True friendships takes work
We all have experienced friendships that have faded
Friendship with God is no different
If you don’t cultivate it then it will fade
When you have a reunion of the that friendship…
You are always on God’s mind
I must choose to be honest with God.
I must choose to obey God in faith.
I must choose to value what God values.

This is what friends do
They care about what is important to the other person.
They asked at work how long I have been married
The next that comes is what is the secret
One the big things is there are certain things we enjoy doing together (Travel is the big one)

2 Timothy 2:15 (NLT) — 15 Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.
15 Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.

He cares about us serving the church.
He cares about telling our friends about Him.
Are your values matching up with Gods?
Are your values matching up with Gods?
Don’t treat God like He is some genie in a bottle.
We you are friends someone you share in your values and your problems

A craving for God
I mention travel earlier
The ocean is a place I love to visit
We crave certain foods
Tina will say I have a taste for…
The missing church meme
The more you miss church the less you miss church
People will just fall away
That’s not what we are after
