The permanence and steadfastness of the Lord is a comfort to His people.
In contrast to the Lord’s everlasting faithfulness, our lives are but a vapor.
If it weren’t for the Lord’s mercy we would be consumed.
Instead He is our refuge:
Deut 33:27 “27 The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. And he thrust out the enemy before you and said, ‘Destroy.’”
Jesus our Abiding Rest
There is an invitation in Scripture to abide in Christ.
The end of Psalm 90 gives hope in the midst of troubled world. It is an appeal to God’s mercy and provision in life.
