I. Pray What You Can: Gal. 4:5-6

Gal. 4:5-6 “so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!””
A. Because we have been adopted into the family of God, we don’t have to fear going to our Heavenly Father with a jumbled prayer, He understands us!
B. Don’t get frustrated with that, or big/small concerns. “The only person who dares wake up a king at 3:00 AM for a glass of water is a child. We have that access”- Tim Keller

II. Remember The Holy Spirit and Jesus Prays For You

Rom. 8:26 “In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;”
Heb. 7:25 “Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”
A. We don’t always know how to pray, sometimes it’s just a cry. That’s perfectly alright!
B. The Holy Spirit says what our hearts are feeling with groans too deep for words.
C. Jesus is also praying to the Father for us. When our prayers are not in God’s will Jesus will pray, what we should be praying.

III. Other Believers Pray For Us

Eph. 6:18-20 “With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.”
A. We are to pray for other believers going through a struggle. NOT JUST HEALTH ISSUES.
B. Don’t make it a gossip fest.
C. Pray for ministers and their families.
D. Be grateful for those who are praying for you. There is power in prayer.
