Psalm 73

Recognize When We Are Slipping (vs1-15)

The worst that can happen in this struggle is to fall into sin.

We must beware of how we define prosperity.

We must not act as though we know what we can’t possibly know.

We can’t forget that obedience to God is always best.

Think on God’s Perspective (vs16-20)

Thinking rightly on anything has to begin with God.

Everything the wicked have can be destroyed, and they will be too.

Why would we be envious of those who have nothing?

Remember What We Have (vs23-28)

We can’t forget that in Christ, we have the greatest prize of all.

(1 Peter 3:18)

We should not envy because we already have everything.

What we are given is eternal.

We have nothing to envy because only what we have is truly good.
