What Happens When We Get Saved?

Spirit is regenerated and made alive to God (2 Cor. 5:17)

justified, sanctified, and one day glorified

Body is redeemed but unclaimed (1 Cor. 15:50-54; Eph. 1:14)

Soul must be purified (James 1:21; 1 Peter 1:22)

Mind renewed

Will broken before the Lord

Emotions healed

1 Thess. 5:23 “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

James 1:21 “Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.”

1 Peter 1:22 “Seeing ye have purified your souls in OBEYING THE TRUTH through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye LOVE one another with a pure heart FERVENTLY:”

1. Make No Room For The Enemy To Occupy

John 14:30 “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.” ‘.

Ephesians 4:26-27 “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.”

2. Stay Filled

Matt 12:45 “Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.”

Ephesians 5:18 “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”

Soul Restoring Activity

Love Fervently - 1 Peter 1:22 “Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:”

Your loved ones love brings healing to you and you to them

Church's love brings healing

Children in children church.

Read His Word regularly - John 6:63 “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

Humbly receiving and obeying the word so it becomes part of us.

Pray in the Spirit - Ephesians 5:18 “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”

Meditate upon things pure, lovely, noble and of good report - Php 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

Gird up the loins of your mind

as a man thinks so shall he be

Keep your hearts for out of it flow issues of life.
