The Victory of God – Part 2 2 Kings 6:15-17 Last Week: We learned about Victory... “Victory is MINE”...”I told Satan.” The truth is The Victory is God’s; We have no power; 1. God protects us from the enemy’s secret attacks. 2. God protects His children in the Midnight times of life. 3. But most of all, God protects our IDENTITY in Christ at all times. This week: The Victory of God – Part 2 ~The Victory of God Includes the Promise of His PROTECTION. ~THE VICTORY OF GOD INCLUDES THE PROMISE OF HIS POWER. POWER! Makes the world work. They had the city surrounded. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. It was just two of them against all those armed and mighty men.

GOD’S POWER IS GREATER THAN OTHER POWERS ~There are times when life just doesn’t seem fair. Little ole you against all “them.” ! Bill collectors; ; doctors peer pressure supervisors FOES school bullies ; ; ; ; even ; TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS- . daddy’s baby mama drama But that’s where we get it wrong...It’s not just “little ole you”... It’s Big ole God and little ole you...and His power is Greater all them. ILLUS: Little lady in Arizona at stadium. The young servant ran to his master filled with fear and cried out, “What shall we do now.” ~It’s important that you know where to run times of trouble. When the enemy comes against you; when your foes surround you, Run To God! Don’t run to drugs; another man; another woman; The power of God is greater than any other power or powers combined. God will give you victory if you run to Him. THE VICTORY OF GOD INCLUDES THE PROMISE OF HIS POWER. your own family baby

GOD’S POWER IS GREATER THAN FEAR The first thing the man of God told the servant was “DO NOT FEAR!” That’s our theme this year. DO NOT FEAR!!! Fear = a human emotion triggered by a perceived threat. Fear increases the heart rate – But God says “Be anxious for nothing.” Fear causes you to run – But God says “Stand still and see the deliverance of My power. Fear weakens our immune system - But God says “The joy of the Lord is your strength.” Fear causes your mind to play tricks on you...the more you think the worse you get – But God says “Whatever is true, whatever is noble, think on these things.” What do we do now? ILLUS: Kariss Evans and the dog. God says, ”TRUST ME because My Victory Includes the Promise of My Power.” TRUST ME – Because I Am with you. TRUST ME - because you are protected by My Power. TRUST ME - and watch Me work. Your HELP is on the way! When you're down and in despair Don't be uneasy because he'll be there Say don't you worry, no don't you fret The Lord has never, never failed you yet Fear triggers a basic survival mechanism that signals our bodies to respond with a fight or flight response.

GOD’S POWER IS GREATER THAN MAN’S POWER “Open his eyes.” Servant Saw chariots and horses of fire. ~Unseen to the human eye; only with spiritual eyes; prayer is how you get spiritual vision. Worship is how you see in the Spirit. Revelation 1. Fire – Superior angelic beings ready to do God’s bidding and express His power. Fire – the power of God that prevents death.
