We work together well.
But there is always room for improvement.
I want to remind you today that our working together affects the kingdom greatly.
Scripture says in Ecclesiastes 4:9
that is to say working together always provides more satisfying work than working alone.
Its wonderful to know that coming here everyday we have people that truly enjoy being together.
It is of gospel significance that we continue to do this.
as the devil attempts to squeeze his way into our close knot staff it is vital that we continue to be focused on the kingdom.
For the staff of GVBC we can do this simply by continuing to be supportive and caring for each other.
This is by far the most loving staff I have ever been in contact with, church or otherwise.
The author of Ecclesiastes told his audience in Ecclesiastes 4 12
Though the devil will try to stand against our staff.
If we remain bound together, it will be a tall order for him.
Bound together is the only way this thing works.
I have seen places that are Christian ministries that fail to lift each other up.
They fail to help one another in need.
They failed to show compassion on one another.
It shows in the happiness, longevity, and impact of the staff in a negative light if we come to work with this mentality.
“I am doing what is required of me and nothing more”
“I see him or her stretched thin, but I am not even going to see if they need help”
We are helpful and loving to one another, and it makes it a joy to come here each day.
We have an obligation to maintain that.
