A Life Poured Out

From the time we are born we begin to pour our lives out on the world and people around us. Another words we begin to make an impacted on the people our life touch.
Priscilla touched a lot of people in her life. As you look around this room each one of us was impacted by Priscilla life
Priscilla Pour Out Her Life For Christ
Luke 7:37-38 37 When a certain woman from that city heard he was eating there, she brought a beautiful alabaster jar filled with expensive perfume. 38 Then she knelt behind him at his feet, weeping. Her tears fell on his feet, and she wiped them off with her hair. Then she kept kissing his feet and putting perfume on them.
Priscilla allow her life to be pour out for Christ. As Priscilla pour out her life on others, it was like this woman pouring out the oil on Jesus’s feet.
Priscilla gave Him the box! (Her Life) Many of us had the opportunity to be touch by the sweet smelling aroma of Priscilla’s life as she poured out her life on others.

Priscilla’s Life Counted

Philippians 2:16-17
16 Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless. 17 But I will rejoice even if I lose my life, pouring it out like a liquid offering to God, just like your faithful service is an offering to God. And I want all of you to share that joy.
Four things I want to point in these verses that speaks to us and about Priscilla’s life.
· Priscilla held firmly to the word of life
· Priscilla did not run her race in vain and her work was not useless
· Priscilla poured out life like a liquid offering to God
· Priscilla’s faithful service is an offering to God
2 Timothy 4:6-8 6 As for me, my life has already been poured out as an offering to God. The time of my death is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. 8 And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.
I believe Priscilla understood what Paul was talking about in these verses. She finished Her race, She did not give up She remained faithful.
I want to take the next few minutes and point out five things that Paul said, that I believed Priscilla understood.
1. Paul states he was being poured out like a drink offering.
2. I have fought the good fight.
3. I have finished the race.
4. I have kept the faith.
5. Paul said now comes the payoff.

The Payoff

2 Timothy 4:8 8 And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.

Our hope in difficult Time

Isaiah 41:10 10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

God gave us Four promises in this verse

· Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
· Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
· I will strengthen you and help you.
· I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
